Harish Rao follower marks leader’s birthday with blood-painted portrait

A young BRS leader from Siddipet, Saiprem Samalla, marked former minister T. Harish Rao’s birthday in an unusual way by commissioning a portrait painted with his own blood, which he planned to present to Rao on Wednesday.

Siddipet: Followers of politicians are known to exhibit their love for their leaders in myriad ways.

A staunch follower of former Minister T Harish Rao made such an attempt by getting a portrait of Harish Rao painted with his blood. Saiprem Samalla, a young BRS leader from Siddipet, wanted to celebrate Harish Rao’s birthday in a unique way this year.


Since Rao’s birthday was to be celebrated on Wednesday, Saiprem roped in an artist to draw the portrait of the former minister using his blood. His blood was drawn by a qualified technician working at a blood bank in Siddipet. Saiprem planned to present the extraordinary portrait to Harish Rao on Wednesday.
