The Malkajgiri Traffic Police have announced traffic restrictions and diversions around Parade Grounds on June 2 for Telangana Formation Day celebrations. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes and public transport as congestion is expected on major roads in Secunderabad.

Malkajgiri traffic police issue advisory for Telangana Formation Day event

Hyderabad: The Malkajgiri Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory ahead of the Telangana Formation Day celebrations to be held at Parade Grounds on June 2. The event will be attended by the Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy.

Police officials said traffic restrictions and diversions will be enforced on roads leading to Parade Grounds and surrounding areas between 7 am and 12 pm.


They have advised alternative routes for motorists travelling between Begumpet, Sangeeth Junction, Trimulgherry, Bowenpally, Tank Bund, and Secunderabad. Traffic congestion is expected on key arterial roads throughout the event period.

The traffic police have urged citizens to make use of Metro Rail and other public transport services. Heavy vehicles, RTC buses, and private travel buses have been advised to avoid roads leading to the venue.

Officials said traffic movement will be monitored through CCTV surveillance and traffic control rooms, while real-time updates will be shared through social media platforms and FM radio channels.
