Car rams into TGSRTC bus at Ramanthapur

Hyderabad: A car rammed into the rear of a TGSRTC bus at Ramanthapur on Monday morning, causing severe damage to the vehicle.

According to information available, the RTC bus was travelling from Uppal to Mehdipatnam and had stopped at the Polytechnic College bus stop in Ramanthapur to pick up passengers when the accident occurred.


A speeding car approaching from behind crashed into the stationary bus.

The impact was so strong that the front portion of the car was completely damaged, with its engine compartment getting lodged beneath the rear of the bus.

The condition of the car driver was not immediately known, however he is believed to have been escaped unhurt.

Police are investigating whether over speeding or any other factors led to the crash. Further details are awaited.
