Locals rescued man stranded on rock amid stream in Sangareddy

Sangareddy: Villaers rescued a man who remained stranded amid a flowing stream at Pyaravaram in Jharasangam mandal on Wednesday morning.

The man, who crossed the stream for somework, found it difficult to cross the stream in less than an hour. He made a bid to cross the stream, but stayed back on a rock as inflow to the stream raised menacingly.


The locals have rescued him with a ladder and rope. The villagers were relieved as he jumped to safety. Jharasangam mandal witnessed heavy rains on Tuesday night.

Several streams came alive in the erstwhile Medak as most parts of the district received moderate to heavy rains on Tuesday night. The traffic on a road at Yasapur in Raikode mandal as the stream was overflowing over a low-level bridge.
