Telangana continues to reel under intense heatwave conditions, with Khammam recording the state’s highest temperature at 45°C. Several northern districts also crossed 44°C, while Hyderabad touched 41.3°C, according to IMD data, with severe warm night conditions reported.

Hyderabad: Heatwave conditions across Telangana continued with Khammam, in the last 24-hours recording the State’s highest at 45 degree Celsius, India Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad weather data on Thursday said.
Meanwhile, Hakimpet recorded the highest in Hyderabad at 41.3 degrees Celsius.
According to IMD data, a heatwave has formed over northern and eastern districts of Telangana. After Khammam, the next district to record the highest temperature (in degree Celsius) was Ramagundam (44.6), Nizamabad (44.4), and Adilabad at 44.3.
The northern districts, including Adilabad and Nizamabad, experienced severe warm night conditions, with minimum temperatures at 32.7 and 32.3, respectively.
According to IMD weather data, Hyderabad recorded a maximum of 39.5 i.e., Begumpet station, while other weather monitoring stations at Hakimpet recorded 41.3, and Dundigal recorded 41 degrees Celsius.
