Hyderabad: BRS chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao announced constituency-wise in-charges for all 119 Assembly segments as part of a digital membership enrolment programme. He will personally oversee the exercise, for which the schedule will be announced soon.
Digital training sessions for constituency in-charges and one designated IT expert from each Assembly segment will be held at Telangana Bhavan shortly. The party said a digital application (mobile app) developed for the membership drive is being fine-tuned and is expected to be launched soon.
Following the State-level training, constituency-wise camps will be organised at district party offices under the supervision of district general secretaries and constituency in-charges. Two representatives from each polling booth will attend the week-long training camps, with the party arranging accommodation and meals. The entire exercise will be monitored directly by State-appointed general secretaries in each district.
Upon completion of the training, the BRS will formally announce the schedule for membership renewal and fresh enrolments. Senior leaders, including Chandrashekhar Rao, are expected to participate in the drive personally.
The party leadership also indicated that elections to the party committees from the village to the State level will be conducted after the membership campaign, with training camps planned for newly constituted committees as part of a broader organisational restructuring ahead of future political programmes in the State.
