Hyderabad: As anticipated in general, prices of petrol and diesel were hiked by the oil companies with effect from Friday. The hike will be around Rs 3 per litre for Petrol and Diesel.
After the hke, as per a PTI report, Petrol in Delhi will now cost Rs 97.77 a litre, while diesel will be priced at Rs 99.67.
Prices of fuel in other cities have not yet been announced. The price hike is necessitated in view of the crisis emerging due to the US – Iran – Israel conflict leading to closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
