Hyderabad: A minor fire broke out in an empty coach of the Hyderabad–Jaipur Special Train at Hyderabad railway station on Friday evening, shortly before its scheduled departure.

Railway officials said the incident was noticed around 6.45 pm while the train was being placed on the platform for its 7.50 pm departure. As there were no passengers inside the affected coach at the time, no injuries were reported.


The fire was brought under control immediately, and the damaged coaches were detached from the train for further inspection.
Officials said the cause of the fire was to be ascertained.
