Kothagudem: Residents in panic as dogs seen feeding on child’s severed head

Panic spread in Bollorigudem of Paloncha mandal in Kothagudem district after locals found street dogs gnawing at the severed head of a child. Police rushed to the spot and launched an investigation to identify the deceased and determine how the remains were abandoned.

Kothagudem: An incident of street dogs devouring the severed head of a child at Bollorigudem in Paloncha mandal in the district on Wednesday caused panic among the public.

The locals who noticed the dogs gnawing at the decomposed head chased them away and informed police. Residents in the vicinity are gripped by intense fear due to the foul odour pervading the area.


It is not clear from where the head of child ended in the locality; where could be the torso of the deceased child and who might have abandoned the child. On receiving information the town SI, T Nagaraju visited the spot and launched a probe into the incident.
