Amazon India said Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have emerged among the fastest-growing markets for Amazon Bazaar, driven by strong demand in fashion, home and electronic accessories categories. Hyderabad led customer growth, while tier-2 and tier-3 cities showed rising online shopping adoption.

Hyderabad: Amazon announced that Telangana and Andhra Pradesh emerged as one of the fastest-growing States for Amazon Bazaar.
Orders across both States have increased 4X year-over-year, with Hyderabad leading the charge with a 4X increase in new customer sign-ups. Other top cities from the States include Vijayawada, Guntur, Visakhapatnam and Warangal. In 2026, Amazon Bazaar witnessed 6X growth in Hyderabad within just the first four months of the year.
Across the State, Amazon Bazaar has seen a demand surge across categories, with Women’s Fashion growing 6X YoY, Home & Kitchen 8X YoY and Electronic Accessories 4X YoY. Top top-selling products include sarees, kurtis, fashion jewelry, home décor, utility kitchen items and mobile covers, reflecting a customer base that prioritizes both affordability and style.
Amazon India Amazon Bazaar head Sameer Lalwani said, “We are witnessing a structural shift in online shopping behaviour, especially across tier-2 and tier-3 cities, where customers increasingly seek quality, variety and value, in equal measure.”
