Burglars broke into a locked house in Hyderabad’s Goshamahal area while the family was away at a wedding, stealing gold, silver and cash worth several lakhs

Hyderabad: A major burglary was reported at Goshamahal area, where thieves allegedly targeted a house while the family was away attending a wedding and decamped with valuables worth several lakhs on Sunday.
According to police, the incident took place near Jain School where the house had been locked since Sunday morning. The homeowner returned in the evening and found the main door lock broken.
On checking the house, the family discovered that unidentified burglars had decamped with around 30 tolas of gold ornaments, 30 tolas of silver articles, and Rs 5 lakh in cash.
Following a complaint, plice registered a case and are investigating. A clues team visited the spot and collected forensic evidence, while police began scanning CCTV footage from nearby areas to identify and trace the suspects.
