Hyderabad: From glowing puppets to death-defying circus stunts, Hyderabad is hosting two spectacular live entertainment experiences this month that promise fun for both kids and adults. If you are looking for something different to do with friends or family, these shows deserve a spot on your weekend plans before they wrap up.

Olympian Circus
Running from May 11 to May 24 at Qutubullapur Playground, Olympian Circus brings a modern, high-energy twist to the traditional circus experience. The one-and-a-half-hour international production is packed with action, stunts and visual effects aimed at keeping audiences on the edge of their seats.
The show includes thrilling acts such as the Globe of Death, Wheel of Death, a world-record hair-hanging performance, basketball acrobatics and unicycle stunts, along with comedy acts and laser-light effects. With ticket prices ranging from Rs 150 to Rs 500, the circus has quickly become one of the most talked-about live events in the city this season.
Giant Light Puppet Show
Presented by GEMS Kids Club, the world-famous Giant Light Puppet Show is set to take over Shilpa Kala Vedika from May 23 to July 21. Created by internationally renowned puppeteer Nikolai Zykov, the 90-minute performance blends giant glowing puppets, neon creations and magical 3D figures in a completely wordless spectacle designed for both children and adults.
The show features puppets ranging from one to eight metres tall, with some even flying above the audience during the performance. Known for receiving standing ovations across more than 50 countries, the production promises a visually immersive experience unlike a traditional puppet show. Tickets start at Rs 499 and go up to Rs 3,999 for VVIP seating.
