Hyderabad: BRSLP Deputy Leader T Harish Rao on Sunday questioned the delay in police action in the POCSO case involving Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay’s son Bhagirath. He demanded answers from Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy over the handling of the case.
In a statement, Harish Rao pointed to lapses in the police taking eight hours to register the case after the victim approached the station. He asked why no action had been initiated against the accused even 36 hours after the case was booked.
“Could there be any greater proof of collusion of the Congress and BJP in this State?” he asked, demanding an impartial police investigation and immediate justice for the victim.
