Hyderabad: J V Subrahmanyam, the organiser of the prestigious Brilliant Grammar School Chess Tournament, was felicitated by Hyderabad Chess Centre for successfully organising the Brilliant Trophy Chess Tournament for the last 20 years without a break.
“Subrahmanyam is a truly remarkable personality and this is an incredible achievement that reflects his dedication, commitment and passion for chess,” the HCC officials said.
“Many present Grandmasters and strong players have participated in the Brilliant Grammar School Chess Tournament over the years,” they said.
The HCC presented J V Subrahmanyam with a memento and a certificate of appreciation.
HCC officials Satyendranath, Satyanarayana, Kandi Ravi, Y Sameer Kumar and K Narsimha Rao graced the felicitation event.
