Hyderabad: A dispute over an unpaid bill turned violent at a restaurant, leaving staff members injured in Saroornagar.
The incident occurred on May 2 at Urban Restaurant in Saroornagar, where a group of men allegedly attacked employees after being asked to settle their bill before leaving.
According to the police, armed with knives and wooden sticks, the assailants assaulted staff and created chaos inside the premises before fleeing.
The incident became public after videos circulated on social media, showing the intensity of the attack, on Wednesday. Injured workers were shifted to hospitals, with some sustaining serious wounds.
The Saroornagar Police registered a case and took up an investigation. Officials identified the suspects as associates of alleged rowdy sheeters, Yedula Prasanna Reddy and Yedula Yashwanth Reddy, who are currently absconding.
Special teams have been deployed to trace those involved.
