Four people were arrested in Secunderabad for allegedly selling commercial LPG cylinders illegally at higher prices. Police seized cylinders, vehicles, and cash worth ₹7.5 lakh. The accused reportedly diverted supplies meant for agencies to local eateries.

Hyderabad: The Task Force (Secunderabad Zone), along with Gandhi Nagar police, arrested four persons for illegally selling commercial LPG cylinders at inflated prices at New Bhoiguda in Secunderabad.
The suspects — Y Parthip Kumar, J Mallesh, M Nagarjuna alias Arjun, and N Mallesh were allegedly diverting cylinders from a gas agency and supplying them to local eateries at higher rates for profit.
Police seized 129 commercial cylinders (25 filled, 104 empty), a goods vehicle, a scooter, Rs 26,700 in cash, and four mobile phones, altogether worth Rs 7.5 lakh from them.
Police said the delivery workers colluded with a mediator to sell cylinders above the standard price, exploiting demand among small businesses.
The case is under investigation.
