A road accident on NH-65 near Zaheerabad killed two pilgrims and injured three others when a speeding car hit a stationary mini goods vehicle. Victims were returning from a temple visit; police have registered a case

Two died, three injured as car rams stationery goods vehicle on NH-65 near Zaheerabad

Sangareddy: Stopping of a vehicle on the busy NH-65 resulted in a road mishap as a speeding car rammed into the stationary mini goods vehicle on the by-pass road near Zaheerabad in the wee hours of Tuesday.

Two passengers died and three are injured in the incident.


Five persons from Chevella embarked on a pilgrimage to Tulja Bhavani Temple in Maharastra. They were on their way back from pilgrimage when the accident resulted in the death of two of them.

The remaining three pilgrims also sustained serious injuries. The deceased were M Rohith (16) and K Mahesh Goud (26). The injured were M Athendra Sai, N Karthik and K Narsimhulu. They were rushed to the area hospital in Zaheerabad for treatment.

The condition of two of them is said to be critical. The police registered a case.
