Hyderabad: Panic prevailed for a while due to the sudden explosion of oxygen tanks, reportedly injuring three persons at Jalpally in Pahadishareef, a suburb, on Monday.
As per information available, two oxygen tanks, reportedly used for medical purposes, exploded almost simultaneously in an emergency situation. The powerful blast caused severe structural damage to nearby houses, with some rooftops partially collapsing. Three people were injured in the incident.
On receiving information, the Pahadishareef police reached the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby private hospital. Officials have yet to confirm the exact reason behind the blast. Investigation is on.
