Yashoda Hospitals, Secunderabad, inaugurated the national-level conference INCYCON-2026 on infectious diseases and critical care in Hyderabad on Saturday. More than 500 national and international experts are participating in the two-day event covering critical care infections, microbiology, HIV and transplant-related infections

Hyderabad: Yashoda Hospitals, Secunderabad, under the aegis of its Department of Infectious Diseases, in association with the Clinical Infectious Diseases Society (CIDS), Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists (IAMM), and the Association of Physicians of India (API), Hyderabad Chapter, inaugurated the national-level scientific conference “INCYCON-2026” on infectious diseases and critical care here on Saturday.
The two-day conference, inaugurated by Dr Pavan Gorukanti, Director of Yashoda Hospitals, is witnessing participation from over 500 distinguished national and international medical experts. Dr Pavan said, “The conference will cover a wide range of topics, including critical care infections, infectious diseases, tropical infections, transplant-related infections, clinical microbiology, infections in immunocompromised patients, including HIV, and infections in cancer care.”
Dr Monalisa Sahu, Senior Infectious Diseases Specialist, Yashoda Hospitals, Secunderabad, said, “Infectious diseases remain one of the most dynamic and challenging fields in modern medicine. Timely intervention, especially in critical care settings, significantly impacts patient outcomes.”
The conference is being conducted under the leadership of Dr Pavan Gorukanti, Dr Lingaiah, Director of Medical Services, and Dr Vijay Kumar, Unit Head, Yashoda Hospitals, Secunderabad.
