BV Raju Institute of Technology, Narsapur, inaugurated a new academic block named after Ratan Tata, former Chairman of the Tata Group. Chief guest V Rajanna of TCS praised Tata’s ethical leadership and urged institutions to nurture talent with strong values.

Medak: BV Raju Institute of Technology (BVRIT ), Narsapur has named a newly built college building on the campus after Ratan Tata, former Chairman of the Tata Group. The chief guest for the inaugural ceremony was V Rajanna, President – Technology, Software and Services Division, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
Addressing the students and faculty members, he shared his experiences of working with the late Ratan Tata in 2007. He praised Ratan Tata as a great leader who embodied ethical values and a strong work ethic.
He stated that educational institutions have the responsibility of nurturing talent among the youth and instilling such values among students. Rajanna also emphasised that quality infrastructure would play a key role in achieving this goal. He mentioned that libraries and learning facilities greatly support students’ academic progress and employment opportunities.
Speaking about Artificial Intelligence (AI), Rajanna said that AI is another technological advancement and not a cause of job losses. Instead, it opens doors to new opportunities and learning avenues. He explained that AI can help solve problems in less time and improve efficiency. The newly built academic block will host the management classes.
Chairman of Sri Vishnu Educational Society, KV Vishnu Raju said while addressing that their institution gives high importance to management education.
