Telangana Forest Department ordered a major reshuffle, transferring multiple IFS officers across districts including Mancherial and Kumram Bheem Asifabad. The administrative move aims to streamline forest governance, with new postings assigned across Telangana’s forest circles and divisions

Mancherial: In a reshuffle of IFS officers, a dozen forest officers were transferred on administrative grounds. An order to this effect was issued by Telangana Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao on Wednesday evening.
A 2004 batch IFS officer, S Ramesh, Chief Conservator of Forests and Additional Director at the Telangana Forest Academy was transferred and posted as Conservator of Forests, Research and Development Circle, Hyderabad. B Praveen, joint director of the academy, was transferred and posted as the dean of Forest College Research Institute, Mulugu.
Similarly, Shiv Aasheesh Singh, District Forest Officer (DFO) of Mancherial and his counterpart from Kumram Bheem Asifabad district, Neeraj Kumar Tebriwal were also transferred. While Aasheesh Singh was replaced by Rahul Kishan Jadhav, Ch Balamani was posted as DFO of Kumram Bheem Asifabad district. Neeraj was posted as DFO of Kamareddy, while Aasheesh was posted as DFO of Mahabubnagar.
Other IFS officers who were transferred included Vikas Meena, Nizamabad DFO, Siddharth Vikram Singh, Khammam DFO, Ch Balamani, Rajanna Sircilla DFO. While Vikas was posted as DFO of Mulugu, Siddharth was posted as DFO, Nizamabad district. Anuj Agarwal,and S Satyanarayana were posted as DFOs of Khammam and Rajanna Siricilla districts, respectively.
In the meantime, G Gyaneshwar, Assistant Conservator of Forests was transferred and was directed to report before Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Telangana.
