Hyderabad police arrested two men for allegedly stabbing an AC technician to death near a wine shop in Padmaraonagar. The incident followed a dispute after alcohol consumption. Police seized a knife and scooter and remanded the accused to custody.

Hyderabad: The Chilkalguda police on Saturday arrested two persons for allegedly killing a man near a wine shop at Padmaraonagar two days ago. The police seized a knife and a scooter from them.
The arrested were identified as Najamuddin alias Jahangir (35) and Syed Ilyas (33).
According to DCP (Secunderabad), Rakshitha Krishna Murthy, on Thursday evening, the victim Mohd Aleem, an AC technician, had gone to a liquor shop along with the suspects Najmuddin and Ilyas, where they consumed liquor.
“Afterwards, the trio came out and entered into an argument over some financial disputes. During the quarrel, Najmuddin and Ilyas stabbed Aleem with knives, leading to his death,” said DCP Secunderabad, Raskhita Krishna Murthy.
The police had registered a case and arrested the suspects. Both of them were remanded.
