Cyberabad Traffic Police conducted a special drive against vehicles without proper number plates across multiple locations. A total of 383 cases were booked and Rs 80,600 collected as fines, with officials warning of continued strict enforcement in the future

Hyderabad: To check violations related to vehicles plying without number plates and with irregular or defective number plates, a special drive was conducted in the limits of all police stations of Traffic-II, Cyberabad.
The drive was carried out at Patancheru bus stand, BHEL Road, Miyapur X Road, Allwyn X Road, JNTU Junction, Khaithlapur Road, Thulasivanam Road, under Balanagar Metro station, IDL Lake Road, Narsapur X Road, Erragodalu and Jagadgirigutta Road, apart from Ambedkar statue, Suchitra and Quthbullapur Road.
During the drive, enforcement action was taken against violators to ensure compliance with Motor Vehicle regulations and to enhance road safety and security. A total of 383 cases were booked and a fine of Rs 80,600 was imposed.
The Dy Commissioner of Police, Traffic-II, Cyberabad, advised vehicle drivers to strictly adhere to the prescribed norms regarding proper display of number plates as per Motor Vehicle Rules. Such enforcement drives will continue in the future, and strict action will be taken against violators.
