Telangana govt forms panel to address TGSRTC employees’ issues

Hyderabad: The State government on Tuesday issued orders constituting a high-level committee to examine various issues raised by employees of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC).

In the order, the government said it has been receiving multiple representations from TGSRTC staff concerning service conditions and related matters. After a preliminary review of these appeals, it has decided to set up a committee to study the concerns in detail and recommend appropriate measures.


The committee will be chaired by the Special Chief Secretary of the Transport, Roads & Buildings Department. Other members include the Special Chief Secretary of the Labour, Employment, Training & Factories Department and the Principal Secretary of the Finance Department. The Vice Chairman and Managing Director of TGSRTC will serve as Member-Convener.

The panel has been tasked with conducting a comprehensive examination of all issues raised by employees and submitting its report to the government within four weeks from the date of the order.
