CBIT launches six-day FDP on Zscaler Zero Trust Cloud Security

Hyderabad: Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) has commenced a six-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Zscaler Zero Trust Cloud Security.”

The FDP is being organised by the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI&ML) in collaboration with All India Council for Technical Education under its ATAL Academy, in association with EduSkills, and supported by Zscaler.


The programme, with participation from faculty members, research scholars, and industry professionals, focuses on enhancing knowledge in cybersecurity and Zero Trust Architecture, a key approach for securing modern digital systems. Sessions are led by Sai Venkat, Lead Technical Trainer at Zscaler.

Participants are receiving hands-on training on Zscaler’s Zero Trust Exchange platform, including tools such as ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX. The FDP also covers cybersecurity fundamentals, emerging cyber threats, and advanced cloud security practices.

The programme is coordinated by Dr Y Rama Devi, Professor & Head, AI&ML, Dr D Raman, Professor, CSE, and Bibek Ranjan, Director, EduSkills, along with co-coordinators Dr Prabhakar Kandukuri and Dr Uma Maheswari V.
