Congress workers allegedly vandalised the Gajwel MLA camp office in Siddipet while attempting to place a portrait of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. Former minister T Harish Rao condemned the incident and termed it an attack on democracy.

Siddipet: Congress party workers attacked and damaged the furniture and window panes of the Gajwel MLA Camp office while trying to place the portrait of the Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy here on Saturday. Gajwel assembly segment is represented by former chief minister and BRS supreme K Chandrasekhar Rao.
The vandalism received widespread criticism from different sections of society. The Congress leaders led by DCC President Tumukunta Aknsha Reddy attacked the camp office and damaged the furniture and window panes.
Former Minister T Harish Rao has condemned the attack and said the attack was carried out on the directions of the Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. Rao said that the Congress leaders in Telangana were acting like criminal gangs and termed the attack on Gajwel MLA camp officer as an attack on democracy.
The former minister said that the attacks on opposition leaders, social activists, and media have become routine in the rule of Congress. However, Rao said that the BRS will not fear such attacks and they will continue to fight on the pubic issues.
