Hyderabad: Several shops were gutted in a major fire at Nizampet in Kukatpally on Tuesday late evening.
On being alerted, the fire tenders reached the spot and started firefighting operations. It is learnt the fire started at a furniture shop and soon spread to the other shops.
The firemen are trying to extinguish the blaze. The local police have also reached the spot. Further details are awaited.
