Hyderabad: Swarnendu of AVSE and Varuni Jaiswal of Gujarati Seva Mandal won the men’s and women’s singles titles respectively in the Telangana State Table Tennis League Championship here.
Swarnendu defeated Trishul Mehra (HDTT) 11-6, 7-11, 11-8, 9-11, 11-8, while Varuni scored a 11-5, 8-11, 9-11, 11-9, 11-9 win against Sri Saanvi (SPARS) in the women’s final.

Men: Singles: Swarnendu (AVSE) bt Trishul Mehra (HDTT) 11-6, 7-11, 11-8, 9-11, 11-8.
3rd place: Ali Mohammed (HDTT) bt B Vathsin (GTTA) 11-5, 11-4, 8-11, 11-9.
Women: Singles: Final: Varuni Jaiswal (GSM) bt Sri Saanvi (SPARS) 11-5, 8-11, 9-11, 11-9, 11-9.
3rd place: Devisree (GSM) bt Pranitha (HVS) 13-11, 9-11, 11-9, 9-11, 11-8.
