CBI court adjourns case against Jagan to Feb. 7

Hyderabad, The Special CBI Court here on Friday adjourned the hearing on the cases filed against AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to February 7 as the latter failed to appear before the court although he was asked to do so.

The counsel for the AP CM said they brought the issue of the filing of a petition in the AP High Court challenging the order of the CBI court dismissing his petition for getting exemption from personal appearance before the court. Meanwhile, the other accused in the case like Ayodhya Rami Reddy, Indu Group’s Shyam Prasad Reddy, retired IAS officers Samuel, Manmohan Singh and Rajagopal and former BCCI president N. Srinivasan appeared before the court.
