Iraqi Resistance group attacks Haifa Airport

The anti-Zionist operation was carried out using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), according to the Resistance group.

Since the start of the al-Aqsa Storm operation on the 7th of last October, the occupied port of Eilat has been targeted several times by the Yemeni forces and the Islamic Resistance of Iraq to declare support for the oppressed people of Gaza.

Israel waged its brutal war on besieged Gaza on October 7 after Hamas carried out an unprecedented operation against the occupying entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

Israel has imposed a complete siege on the densely populated territory, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.

Watch: Ambati Rayudu Consoles Hardik Pandya After Mumbai's Loss vs RR

Mumbai Indians are having a forgettable run in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as the five-time champions have lost three matches on trot. Currently placed at the bottom of the points table, MI’s new newly-appointed skipper Hardik Pandya is also facing severe criticism from the fans, ever-since he replaced Rohit Sharma as the captain. MI’s latest defeat came against Rajasthan Royals, who restricted them to 125/9 and then chased down the target in just 15.3 overs.

After the loss against RR, a very emotional moment was captured as Hardik was seen sitting in the dugout and having an interaction with Ambati Rayudu. Hardik kept his hand on Rayudu’s shoulder as the former MI batter was seen consoling him.

“A tough night, we didn’t start the way we wanted to start. I wanted to counter, we were in a decent position to get us around 150-160, but my wicket allowed them to get back more into the game, I needed to do a lot more. It’s okay, we didn’t expect such a surface, but you can’t always have it as a batter, it’s nice at times for the bowlers to have a say. It’s all about doing the right things, (correct) results happen at times, at some other times it doesn’t. As a group, we believe we can do a lot better, but we need to be a bit more disciplined and show a lot more courage,” said Hardik after MI’s loss.

Earlier, former India cricketer-turned-commentator, Navjot Singh Sidhu echoed the sentiments of thousands of Rohit Sharma fans as he asked what wrong did the Hitman do, to be removed as Mumbai’s skipper.

“Nobody can digest the fact that India’s hero, India’s captain, is not the captain of our franchise. ‘What wrong has he done?’ is what fans of the franchise would be thinking,” Navjot Sidhu said on Star Sports.

“But what does he have to do? There is nothing that succeeds like success. If he had won these two matches, there wouldn’t have been any noise,” he further added.

New Delhi:

Crew, featuring a stellar cast including Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu, continues its theatrical journey with a mixed bag of results at the box office. While on Monday, the film earned around Rs 4.20 crore, marking a 60 per cent drop from its opening day figures, Tuesday saw a further dip in its box office performance. As per a Sacnilk report, Crew minted Rs 3.50 crore on its fifth day in theatres. With a Hindi occupancy rate of 12.99% on Tuesday, the film has amassed a total box office collection of Rs 37.20 crore. In other news, Kriti Sanon expressed her enthusiasm for a potential sequel, stating she, along with co-stars Tabu and Kareena, would be keen to reunite.

Crew revolves around three air hostesses portrayed by Tabu, Kareena, and Kriti, whose fortunes take a dramatic turn when they stumble upon a dead passenger smuggling gold biscuits, amidst the backdrop of their airline Kohinoor facing bankruptcy.

Reportedly, Crew has been released across 2000 theatres. It premiered in over 75 countries, spanning more than 1100 locations. The estimated budget for the film, covering production and advertising expenses, reportedly stands around Rs 60 crore.

Crew opened to largely mixed reviews. Film critic Saibal Chatterjee, in his review for NDTV, gave the film 2 stars out of 5 and wrote, “Crew would have been much more fun if only it knew how to buoy things up with strokes of genuine inspiration. Yes, that is what is sorely missing in a film that goes for gold but fails to find a source of sustained sparkle.

Produced under the banners of Balaji Telefilms and Anil Kapoor Film & Communications Network, Crew not only features the three leading ladies but also includes Diljit Dosanjh, Kapil Sharma, Saswata Chatterjee, Rajesh Sharma, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda in its ensemble cast.

This British Man Nears Milestone Of Becoming First To Run Entire Length of Africa

Russell Cook is due to finish the challenge on 7 April.

Ultramarathon runner Russ Cook, also known as “Hardest Geezer,” is about to achieve a remarkable feat: running the entire length of Africa. This ambitious journey, dubbed Project Africa, will see him become the first person to ever complete such a trek. Cook began his adventure on 22 April, 2023 at the southern tip of South Africa and is expected to reach the finish line in Bizerte, Tunisia, on April 7th. Project Africa is an epic undertaking, spanning nearly 9,000 miles and taking him across a staggering 16 African countries.

Yesterday, he posted on Twitter that he was on the verge of completing his continent-spanning marathon in approximately five days.

“5 days to go. The last 347 days running through Africa have no doubt been the toughest of my life, but such an immense honour,” he tweeted.

According to BBC, Mr Cook had originally planned to complete 360 marathons in 240 days. After complications with his visas, health scares, geopolitical issues and an armed robbery, he was forced to change his route, extending the challenge.

Cook’s passion for extreme running was sparked by a friend. Since then, he’s tackled challenges like running across Asia and even a beer-fueled marathon. Project Africa isn’t just about the distance; Cook is also raising money for charities. The challenge is in aid of The Running Charity and has raised 427000 pounds (Rs 4,47,62324) so far.

Despite facing visa issues, health problems, and even robbery, Cook’s determination hasn’t wavered. His journey has taken him through deserts, rainforests, and mountains, pushing him to his limits. A celebratory party with a performance by British punk band Soft Play awaits him at the finish line. This is one ultramarathon that will be remembered.

Out On Bail, Nuh Violence Accused Bittu Bajrangi Thrashes Man, Cop Looks On

Out On Bail, Nuh Violence Accused Bittu Bajrangi Thrashes Man, Cop Looks On

A video of the incident has gone viral.

New Delhi:

Bittu Bajrangi, who is out on bail after being arrested in the case of violence in Haryana’s Nuh last year, has been caught on camera beating up a man with a stick as others from his cow vigilante group pin him down. In the video, which has now gone viral, a policeman is seen standing within touching distance of the man, but remains a mute spectator.

The police have not registered a case yet.

Police officials said the video is from April 1 and the man who has been thrashed is a resident of Faridabad’s Sarurpur. The man, Shamu, was accused of luring two girls from his neighbourhood into his house by offering them chocolates and local residents suspected that he intended to sexually abuse them. Some of his neighbours barged into the house and caught hold of Shamu.

News of the incident spread and members of Bajrangi’s cow vigilante group, Goraksha Bajrang Force, reached the spot and took Shamu with them to their leader’s house in Faridabad’s Sanjay Enclave. The video from outside Bajrangi’s house shows the cow vigilante, who is also a Bajrang Dal member, holding a stick as other men from his group drag a pleading Shamu along the ground.

A policeman is seen sitting on a chair inches from the man and he gets up, but does nothing to intervene. A man can then be heard asking the others to turn Shamu on his side and Bajrangi alias Raj Kumar proceeds to hit him with a stick at least four times. Police officials said the mother of one of the girls had also hit Shamu with the stick before Bajrangi proceeded to do so.

The officer in charge of Saran Police Station said, “We have seen the viral video and are looking for the man who was beaten up. After we get a complaint from him, we will take appropriate action. If we don’t get a complaint from him, we will track down the accused using the video and social media and take action against them.”

The communal violence in Haryana’s Nuh had broken out in July last year during a procession organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and then spread to other areas, including Gurugram and Badshahpur. Five people were killed and at least 70 people were injured. A mosque had also been set ablaze and a cleric was among the dead.
