Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says the Israeli regime will receive a slap in the face for an attack on the premises of the Iranian embassy in Syria’s capital earlier this week.

In an address to officials of the Iranian administration and other branches of government on Wednesday, the Leader said the attack would fail to save Israel from its defeat in Gaza where it has been engaged in nearly six months of aggression against the Palestinians.

“The cowardly efforts by the Zionist regime like the one they carried out in Syria will not save them from defeat. They will of course receive a slap in the face for this move,” he said.

“The Zionist regime’s defeat in Gaza will continue and this regime will approach demise and collapse,” said Ayatollah Khamenei.

Iran is undertaking ‘vast infrastructure’ endeavors

Elsewhere in his remarks, the Leader touched upon Iran’s current economic situation and said that the country is undertaking some vast economic infrastructure endeavors that will pay off in the future.

Ayatollah Khamenei said that Iran has been going through some “sweet and bitter” economic experiences in recent years as he insisted that more work is needed to be done to improve the country’s economic situation.

“The sweet part of the economy entails the vast infrastructure activities which will bear results in the middle run and in the not-so distant future,” he said.

New Delhi:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed anguish at the loss of lives in an earthquake in Taiwan, conveying India’s solidarity with the “resilient” people of the country.

He said on X, “Deeply saddened by the loss of lives due to earthquakes in Taiwan today. Our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured. We stand in solidarity with the resilient people of Taiwan as they endure the aftermath and recover from it.” The strongest earthquake in a quarter-century rocked Taiwan during the morning rush hour on Wednesday, killing nine people, trapping dozens of miners and sending some residents scrambling out the windows of damaged buildings.

The quake, which also injured hundreds, was centred off the coast of rural, mountainous Hualien County, where some buildings leaned at severe angles, their ground floors crushed.

Just over 150 km away in the capital of Taipei, tiles fell from older buildings, and schools evacuated their students to sports fields, equipping them with yellow safety helmets.

Nama Nageswara Rao calls on BRS cadres to work with zeal to win Khammam LS seat

Khammam: Sitting MP and BRS Khammam Lok Sabha candidate Nama Nageswara Rao has called on the party workers to work with zeal to make him win the election with a huge majority.

The MP addressed the party workers at Janakipuram of Bonakal mandal on Tuesday.

He said that if he wins for the third time he would work for Khammam development and stand by the BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao in these difficult times.

Nageswara Rao said that Telangana MPs of Congress and BJP never talked about the State issues. He said that it was due to his efforts that the State highways in the district became national highways and that he wrote more than 120 letters to the Centre for the Bhadrachalam-Kovvur rail line.

The BRS candidate reminded that during the previous Congress rule, farmers committed suicide due to lack of electricity and irrigation water, and they always used to stage dharnas.

The same conditions were repeating again now. MP Vaddiraju Ravichandra said that people expected something great would happen and elected the Congress government and the same people were going to teach a lesson to Congress in the parliamentary elections

"Jail Ke Taale Tootenge": AAP's Sanjay Singh Out Of Tihar After 6 Months

A huge crowd of AAP supporters had gathered outside the prison to welcome Mr Singh.

New Delhi:

Having spent six months behind bars in the Delhi liquor policy case, senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has been released from Tihar jail. He walked out of the prison on Wednesday evening, a day after he was granted bail by the Supreme Court, which noted that there was “no trace” of the money allegedly received as bribes by the AAP for allotting liquor licences.

Mr Singh was released after the bail order was received by the jail authorities and was welcomed by a huge crowd of AAP supporters. Addressing the crowd from atop a vehicle, the AAP leader said, “Arvind Kejriwal, who is the biggest leader, Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain have been kept behind bars.”

Mera bharosa hai ki jail ke taale tootengehamare saare neta chhutenge (It is my belief that all jailed AAP leaders will be freed),” he thundered.

In what is being seen as a political statement, Mr Singh went straight to the house of Mr Kejriwal, who was arrested in the case on March 21, to meet the Delhi chief minister’s wife, Sunita. He is then expected to head to the AAP office and address workers there.

Like Mr Kejriwal, Mr Singh was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate, which is probing the money laundering angle in the Delhi liquor policy case. After the MP was granted bail on Tuesday, senior AAP leader and Delhi minister Atishi had said that the Supreme Court’s order had vindicated the party’s stand on the agency being unable to trace the bribe money in the alleged scam and on the alleged coercion of witnesses.

Mr Kejriwal’s former deputy, Manish Sisodia, and BRS leader K Kavitha have also been arrested in the same case and the opposition parties have made the alleged misuse of central agencies by the BJP a central plank of their campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. They have pointed out that the arrests of opposition leaders, coupled with the freezing of Congress’ accounts, have deprived them of a level playing field, which is crucial for free-and-fair elections.

This point was made strongly by several leaders as well as Mr Kejriwal’s wife at a ‘Loktantra Bachao’ (Save Democracy) rally at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan on Sunday, which was seen as a show of strength and unity by the opposition INDIA bloc.

Impact On Campaign?

Granting bail to Mr Singh on Tuesday, the Supreme Court had asked why he had been jailed for over six months without a trial or evidence of the alleged bribe paid to him by an accused-turned-approver.

Stating that the order could not be treated as a precedent, the bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna, Dipankar Datta Prasanna B Varale had, however, allowed Mr Singh to participate in political activities. This aspect may prove crucial for the AAP, whose campaign could get a fillip with less than three weeks to go for the Lok Sabha polls.

Baba Vanga's Predictions For 2024 And When The World Might End

Baba Vanga's Predictions For 2024 And When The World Might End

Baba Vanga had predicted the occurrence of severe weather events and natural disasters in 2024.

Four months into 2024 the world has already experienced significant turmoil. Baba Vanga, the blind Bulgarian mystic renowned for her reputed ability to foresee major global events such as 9/11, the Chernobyl disaster, and Princess Diana’s death, shared her predictions for 2024 before she died in 1996 at the age of 85 – and some of them are coming true.

Often compared to the French astrologer Nostradamus, whose prophetic verses garnered him recognition during and after the Renaissance period, Baba Vanga was similarly gifted in foresight.

Here are some of her predictions:

Climate changes

Baba Vanga had predicted the occurrence of severe weather events and natural disasters in 2024.

According to a study published in Science Advances, global heat waves are occurring 67% more frequently. The study reveals that the highest temperatures during these heat waves have increased compared to those recorded 40 years ago, and the affected area under a heat dome has expanded. The study further notes that from 1979 to 1983, global heat waves typically lasted for eight days on average, whereas from 2016 to 2020, the duration extended to 12 days. Additionally, the World Meteorological Organization has stated that there is a “high probability” that 2024 will register as another record-hot year.

Cyber attacks

This stands out as one of Baba Vanga’s most remarkable predictions, considering that at the time of her death in 1996, the internet was still in its nascent stages. The mystic foresaw a rise in cyberattacks, particularly targeting critical infrastructure, potentially posing security risks on a global scale.

Recently, AT&T made headlines by revealing that a dataset discovered on the “dark web” contains sensitive information, including social security numbers and passwords, belonging to approximately 7.6 million current and 65.4 million former account holders. The origin of this data, whether it originated from AT&T or one of its vendors, remains unclear, as noted by the Dallas-based company, which has initiated an investigation into the matter. AT&T has also commenced the process of informing affected customers about the compromise of their personal information.

In the past 12 months, prominent companies such as Apple, Meta, and X have all disclosed instances of cybersecurity breaches.

Economic Crisis

The mystic foresaw a deepening economic crisis in 2024 attributed to shifts in global economic power, escalating geopolitical tensions, and escalating levels of debt.

Already this year, millions of Americans are grappling with persistent inflation, impeding their ability to secure their financial future, as outlined in a recent study released by Allianz Life.

Throughout 2023, the U.S. economy, the largest in the world, expanded by 2.5%, up from 1.9% in 2022. In the current January-March quarter, it is projected that the economy is growing at a slower but still respectable annual rate of 2.1%, according to a forecasting model issued by the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.

In contrast, Japan witnessed an economic contraction in the final quarter of 2023 due to sluggish domestic consumption. In the U.K., factors such as high-interest rates and low productivity have contributed to the nation’s lacklustre economic performance. China is also encountering economic hurdles.

An uptick in terrorism and biological weapons testing

Baba Vanga warned of increased terrorist activities in Europe and hinted at the possibility of a “major country” engaging in biological weapons testing or launching attacks. Presently, the Israel-Hamas conflict and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine remain prominent issues.

Medical breakthroughs

Baba Vanga also predicted a few medical breakthroughs for incurable diseases including Alzheimer’s and cancer in 2024. Recent developments have confirmed progress in the development of a lung cancer vaccine. The United Kingdom has allocated funding for two years of laboratory research and initial manufacturing of 3000 doses for a DNA-based lung cancer vaccine, as stated in a press release from the University of Oxford, located in Oxford, England.

Reports from Russia suggest that a cancer vaccine is under development. President Vladimir Putin remarked in televised statements that “we have reached a significant stage in the development of cancer vaccines and next-generation immunomodulatory drugs,” as reported by Reuters.

Baba Vanga predicted the end of the world

Baba Vanga’s predictions stop in 5079 – which is when she predicts the world will end.

Operation Al-Aqsa Storm put Israel on brink of extinction: Nasrallah

Operation Al-Aqsa Storm put the Israeli regime on the brink of extinction and dealt an irreparable blow to the Zionist project in Palestine, says the secretary-general of Lebanon’s resistance movement Hezbollah.

Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said the operation shook the foundations of the regime.

He made the remarks during a Wednesday televised address to a virtual gathering of resistance leaders ahead of the International Al-Quds Day, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.

What is happening today in Palestine, the region, and the world, Nasrallah said, is a flood in every sense of the word.

Nasrallah said nobody in the occupied territories talks of a “greater Israel” project anymore. This is one of the achievements of the October 7 operation, he said, as well as previous anti-Israel operations in Lebanon and Gaza that led to the withdrawal of Israel from southern Lebanon and Gaza in the 2000s.

Nasrallah praised the courage and creativity of the Palestinian resistance. The people of Gaza created, with their steadfastness, a historical epic whose parallels are rare, he said.

The Hezbollah chief also hailed anti-Israel operations by the resistance in Yemen, Iraq, and Lebanon and their perseverance despite threats and pressures.

Nasrallah underscored Iran’s support for the Axis of Resistance in Gaza, the occupied West Bank, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq.

Syria was another highlight of Nasrallah’s remarks. The Hezbollah leader said all the bombings, threats, and intimidation attempts over the past few months had not changed Syria’s standing with the resistance groups in the region.

‘Iraqi resistance to expand operations’

During the same televised event, Secretary-General of Iraq’s Al-Nujaba Movement Sheikh Akram al-Kaabi said the Iraqi resistance is an essential element of the Axis of Resistance.

He said the Nujaba have managed to successfully hit Israeli bases in the occupied Golan Heights and crucial targets near the Dead Sea, Ashdod, Haifa, and the port of Um al-Rashrash (Eilat).

The Axis of Resistance, Kaabi said, has managed to challenge the hegemony of the United States using a limited amount of capabilities.

Kaabi said the United States and Israel targeted women and children in Gaza using all types of bombs but could not bring them to their knees.

What happened in Gaza and the world rightfully proved the vision of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei regarding the demise of the US hegemony and the collapse of the Zionist entity, he said.

Kaabi said the Iraqi resistance will not overlook the role of the United States, which is the main supporter of the Israeli regime, and will continue to fight the American occupation in Iraq.
