Hyderabad: Telangana’s Hitesh Dolwani won gold at the UTT Para Table Tennis National Ranking Championship held at Abhay Prashal Indoor Stadium, Indore, Madhya Pradesh on Friday.
In the men’s Class 10 final, Hitesh dominated Maharashtra’s Vishwa Tambe with a commanding 11-6, 11-5, 11-4 victory. Meanwhile, Nisha Kumari and Vijaya Deepika Gangapatnam brought pride to the state with silver medals, finishing runners-up in the women’s Class 8 and Class 4 finals, respectively.
