Tel Aviv regime deployed white phosphorous bomb on Gaza

“Israeli warplanes use internationally #prohibited_white_phosphorus, destroying al-Karama neighborhood,” the official Palestinian Wafa news agency wrote on X on Wednesday, referring to a neighborhood lying in the north of the Palestinian territory.

Calling up an unprecedented 300,000 reservists, the Israeli regime has declared a “long” war on Gaza in response to Operation al-Aqsa Storm.

Gaza’s Hamas and Islamic Jihad resistance movements initiated the operation on Saturday, killing hundreds of Israeli forces and illegal settlers and taking many others among them hostage. The resistance fighters say they waged the operation against the occupying regime in response to its decades-long campaign of bloodshed and destruction against Palestinians.

The Israeli war has so far killed 900 Palestinians, including 260 children and 230 women, and injured as many as 4,600 others.

Reporting on Monday, Iran’s Arabic-language al-Alam news network reported that the regime had started using the banned munitions against Gaza earlier in the day.

The use of white phosphorus shells for direct targeting of enemy positions is illegal under international law as the practice can amount to war crime and cause widespread fatalities.

This is not the first time that Tel Aviv targets the territory with such weapons.

Israel admitted to “using munitions containing white phosphorus” during its 2008-2009 war on Gaza, but the regime denied violating international law by insisting that such weapons were not fired into areas populated by civilians.

Why the Israeli regime fears activation of West Bank

The lack of preparation of the Israeli regime’s intelligence agencies caused more than a thousand Zionists to be killed and nearly 150 others captured by the Resistance forces in a few hours.

A journalist has said that the intelligence interpretation of the Israeli regime was that Hamas was training for something that it would never dare to do. He added that It was bad judgment and arrogance. Hamas instead launched an incredibly complex and sophisticated attack from land and sea.

Al-Aqsa Storm showed how vulnerable the Zionist military is to an offensive operation. This vulnerability is an issue that has been repeatedly warned by Zionists in recent years.

Zionist newspapers say that Netanyahu’s strategy regarding Iran’s nuclear program has also been completely destroyed, and Tel Aviv’s relations with the United States are tense as never before. Without the US, which is considered a very important ally of the Israeli regime, it is unlikely that the regime can last even a day.

One of the fronts whose entry into the equations will cause great fear to the Zionists is the West Bank and the raised Resistance in it.

From 2021 until the recent battle in Jenin, at least 3 short-term battles were imposed on Gaza to continue the Wahdat al-Sahat (Unity of the Fields) strategy, two of which were to change the situation or support the Resistance in the Jenin camp. Wahdat al-Sahat (Unity of the Fields) is a strategy proposed by the Islamic Jihad’s Secretary-General Ziad al-Nakhaleh, and it means that if something happens in Gaza, al-Quds, or anywhere else related to Palestine, all fronts will join to deal with it.

The experience of the Zionists over the entry of the West Bank into the battles has caused a part of their focus to remain on the West Bank after the Al-Aqsa Storm operation was launched. Within the past few days, several operations have been carried out in the West Bank; However, the large-scale entry of Resistance in the West Bank, such as in the Saif Al-Quds in 2021, will make the Zionists confused and cause a massive increase in casualties.

If the struggle against the Zionists on several fronts is realized, the West Bank can even be the heart of this event and its impact will be greater than the Gaza Strip. What is important is that the Zionist regime’s military and officials, apart from their concern about the security and military conditions in the north (Lebanon border) and the Gaza Strip, know that the Jenin Camp can turn into the hub of Resistance as well.

A Zionist reporter quoted former military officers as saying that what is happening in the West Bank is actually a war, because every time Zionist soldiers attack the Palestinian areas in the West Bank, especially Jenin and Nablus, they are shot at. If the West Bank and Jenin enter the battle, the Zionists will face high discontent and individual operations which are difficult to control.

Waving Palestinian flag could be a criminal offence, UK home secretary warns

In yet another instance of the West’s unflinching support for the occupying Israeli regime, the British government has urged the police to consider whether waving a Palestinian flag could be a criminal offense.

In a letter on Tuesday, Home Secretary Suella Braverman urged the UK police forces to be alert for displays of Hamas flags or logos or other demonstrations of support for the Palestinian resistance group, following calls by senior figures for people deemed to have expressed pro-Palestine support to be prosecuted.

Braverman also called on police to consider the context in which Palestinian flags are waved to assess whether public order offenses of harassment or incitement may have been committed.

“Behaviors that are legitimate in some circumstances, for example, the waving of a Palestinian flag, may not be legitimate such as when intended to glorify acts of terrorism,” she wrote.

The popular resistance movement of Hamas was designated as a “terrorist” organization by the UK government in 2021.

Braverman also encouraged police chiefs to consider whether chants like “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” should be “understood as an expression of a violent desire to see Israel erased from the world” and therefore a public order offense.

Earlier in the day, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak accused Hamas of “barbaric acts of terrorism,” and said anyone in the UK supporting the resistance group would be held accountable.

The Western governments, namely the US, Britain, Germany and France, have offered “steadfast support” to Israel amid the regime’s incessant bombing of the besieged Gaza Strip over the past few days.

Israel launched deadly strikes on the coastal area on Saturday after the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement waged a surprise attack, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, against the occupying regime.

Hamas said that its operation came in response to Israel’s violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East al-Quds and growing settler violence.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, at least 950 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli strikes so far. More than 260,000 people have also been displaced in Gaza, with over 175,000 taking shelter in 88 UN schools.

Rights groups and international organizations have unanimously criticized the Israeli regime for its indiscriminate bombing of Gaza and its siege on the territory which has left people without water, electricity and other basic supplies.

EU: Israel breaking international law by besieging Gaza

It is clear that Israel is engaging in an act of genocide across the Gaza Strip. Amid the deadly bombing, essential services have been cut off.  All exits have been closed by the regime’s forces and vital aid is not being allowed in.

EU foreign affairs ministers held emergency talks on Tuesday and had to concede that Israel is breaking international law.

The United Nation has already said that cutting water, cutting electricity, cutting food, to a mass of civilian people is against international law.

Josep Borrrell, EU Foreign Policy Chief

It’s suggested the sheer scale of the latest crisis could be an impetus for positive change.

This could be an awakening moment in order to reengage with the problem of Palestinians, Palestine and Israel.

Josep Borrrell, EU Foreign Policy Chief

Campaigners in Belgium are condemning Israel’s latest onslaught.

This mass aggression and bombing in Gaza cannot eliminate the action of the Palestinian resistance who came flying in and on the ground fighting for Liberation of Palestine from the river to the sea.

Mohammed Khatib, Palestinian Revolutionary Path Movement

We of the Palestinian diaspora have to be united, we can see today the hypocrisy of the West still funding and supporting the Zionist colonies and settlements inside Palestine. This must be stopped.

Abdullah Awad, Samidoun Brussels

The EU’s executive arm is being forced to backtrack after Commissioner Olivér Várhelyi tweeted on Monday that all funding to Palestine is being cut off.

The announcement which was made by Commissioner Várhelyi was not preceded by consultations with any member of the college.

Eric Mamer, Chief EU Commission Spokesperson

Regarding Israel’s latest blatant flouting of international law, there’s no sign that the EU will take any action since has never done so in the past.

Pro Palestinian rallies take been taking place around the world since Saturday, with groups in Belgium having announced they will hold similar events in the coming days.

West Bank; The heart of the battle

Iran FM: Israel seeks to raze Gaza Strip, massacre its residents

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has warned that the Israeli regime is seeking to raze the entire Gaza Strip and massacre its residents.

Speaking with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on the phone on Tuesday night, Amir-Abdollahian censured Israel’s barbaric decision to impose a “complete” siege on Gaza and prevent electricity, food, water and fuel from reaching the strip.

He said the occupying regime is seeking to massacre resilient Gazans through such measures.

“What is happening in Palestinian territories is a direct response to [Israeli prime minister Benjamin] Netanyahu’s radicalism and extremism, and the injustice done to Palestinian people,” the Iranian foreign minister told Lavrov.

Lavrov, for his part, condemned the Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip and underlined the need for cessation of hostilities as soon as possible and a ceasefire between the two sides

“In recent years, lots of big achievements have been made in the region like the rapprochement between Iran and Saudi Arabia, normalization of ties with Syria, and resumption of diplomatic relations between Syria and Turkey, all of which took place without the involvement of the United States,” the top Russian diplomat said.

He emphasized that the Americans are trying to bring all the affairs in the region under their control while regional countries possess innovative initiatives at their disposal.

Israel launched deadly strikes on the blockaded Gaza Strip on Saturday after the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement waged a surprise attack, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, against the occupying regime.

Iran ready to send humanitarian aid to Gaza: FM

Separately, Amir-Abdollahian voiced Iran’s preparedness to dispatch essential medical and humanitarian aid, particularly foodstuff and bottled water, to Gaza in coordination with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the United Nations.

During a telephone conversation with his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry, the top Iranian diplomat called for immediate action from Muslim countries to help Palestinians living in Gaza amid a total siege of the impoverished enclave.

“The Iranian Red Crescent Society is ready to provide necessary humanitarian aid, including water, food and medicine, to the people of Gaza with the help of Egypt and Muslim countries, through cooperation with the ICRC and Red Crescent Societies,” Amir-Abdollahian said.

Shoukry, for his part, condemned the Tel Aviv regime’s relentless bombardment of the Gaza Strip and massacre of civilians, stressing the need for an immediate ceasefire and stoppage of attacks from both sides.

He noted that there will be coordination through the United Nations as regards the dispatch of humanitarian aid from Muslim countries to the Gaza Strip.

Iran urges Muslim states to take serious action against Israeli crimes

Furthermore, the Iranian foreign minister called for Muslim states’ serious action against heinous Israeli crimes in Gaza during a telephone conversation with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah al-Jaber Al Sabah.

Amir-Abdollahian underscored the need for an emergency foreign ministerial meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), voicing Tehran’s readiness to host such an event.

He also emphasized the need to send drinking water and food to the Gaza Strip as soon as possible.

Al Sabah, for his part, underlined his country’s unwavering support for the Palestinian nation, saying it is important for both sides to prevent the escalation of violence and save the lives of civilians.

Kuwait supports any initiative aimed at the restoration of peace in Gaza and backs any meeting aimed at such a purpose, he added.

Iraq’s Hezbollah warns US against aiding Israel in Gaza onslaught

Iraq’s anti-terror group Kata’ib Hezbollah has threatened to target American bases in Iraq and the entire region if the United States intervenes in the ongoing fighting between Palestinian resistance fighters and the Israeli regime.

“Our missiles, drones, and special forces are ready to … strike the American enemy in its bases and disrupt its interests if it intervenes in this battle,” Hezbollah Brigades Secretary General Abu Hussein Al-Hamidawi said in a statement on Tuesday.

The positions held by the Israeli regime and its mercenaries will also be among Kata’ib Hezbollah’s targets in case of US meddling, he added.

The warning came on the same day the administration of US President Joe Biden announced that the USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group had arrived in the eastern Mediterranean Sea.

Hamidawi emphasized that the Iraqi Hezbollah has a duty to stand in solidarity with the Palestinians, citing religious commandments.

He further praised the resilience of the Palestinian nation and resistance groups against Israeli forces.

On Monday, the head of the Iraqi resistance group Harakat Hezbollah Nujaba said that any intervention by the US or any other country against Palestine would result in a military response.

Akram al-Kaabi also called on the Iraqi people to participate in Friday’s rally in a show of support for the Palestinian cause.

Similarly, Hadi al-Amiri, the secretary general of the Badr Organization, said, “If they (the Americans) intervene, we would intervene … we will consider all American targets legitimate.”

Israel launched deadly strikes on the blockaded Gaza Strip on Saturday after the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement waged a surprise attack, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, against the occupying regime.

Hamas said that its operation came in response to Israel’s violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East al-Quds and growing settler violence.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, at least 950 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli strikes so far.

Meanwhile, Basim al-Awadi, spokesperson of the Iraqi government, expressed Baghdad’s support for the Palestinian people’s aspirations and legitimate rights.

“Today’s Palestinian actions respond to longstanding oppression by the Zionist occupation, which ignores international resolutions. We urge global intervention to restore Palestinian rights, cautioning against escalation that could destabilize the region, and call for an urgent Arab League meeting on the Palestinian situation,” he said in a statement.

Similarly, Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid reiterated his country’s steadfast position on the Palestine issue and voiced full support for the oppressed nation.

He strongly condemned the brutal Israeli attacks and urged the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities in a bid to ensure the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

IRCS asks to stop attacks on Gaza

In a message to the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Mirjana Spoljaric Egger, Pirhossein Kolivand said that the IRCS is ready to work with ICRC and its agencies in the region to deliver humanitarian aid to the affected Palestinian people.

The full message reads as follows:

I would like to take this opportunity to express my respect for you and your colleagues.

As you know, in the last few days we have seen images and reports which are utterly horrific. Massive attacks against civilians in Gaza have led to the killing and wounding of hundreds of innocent civilians. If this situation continues to escalate, undoubtedly more civilians will suffer immensely.

Iranian Red Crescent Society, such as the ICRC, is extremely concerned by the alarming intensification of armed violence in Gaza.

We believe that The ICRC, as the trustee of the Geneva Convention and IHL Rules and Principles, will make every effort to reduce the negative humanitarian impacts of this terrible situation.

I, hereby, as the President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, and the President of the Iranian National Committee of the IHL, request you to use all necessary measures to stop the attacks on civilians. We think that Humanitarian Diplomacy could mitigate the negative impact of the current humanitarian crises and these protracted armed conflicts.

In our role as a National Society in the region, we are ready to cooperate with the ICRC and its delegations in the region to dispatch humanitarian aid and consignment for the Palestinian-affected people. We are sure that the joint cooperation between the two organizations can save the lives of many civilians and defenseless people in Gaza.

I would like to thank all humanitarian practitioners who endanger their lives for providing humanitarian services and once again I declare our full readiness for any cooperation to send humanitarian aid and assistance.

Israeli death toll rises to 1,200 in Palestinians' operation

On Saturday, Palestinian Resistance group Hamas launched a large-scale operation with a heavy barrage of rockets in response to the Israeli regime’s desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and increased settler violence. The Israeli regime’s military forces also announced it was launching Operation ‘Iron Swords’ in retaliation for the attack.

On Sunday night, Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu voted to put the regime officially at war.

The death toll from the Palestinian side and the Zionist side are increasing dramatically as the conflict between them continues.

The following are the latest updates:

Israeli regime receives first batch of US munitions

The first US plane carrying a load of munitions for the Israeli regime arrived in occupied Palestine in the early hours of Wednesday, Zionist officials said.

The munitions are intended for carrying out significant strikes and preparing for additional scenarios, TASS quoted Zionists as saying.

Over 263,000 Gaza residents forced to flee their homes due to conflict: UN OCHA

The number of internally displaced persons (IDP) in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 263,000, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) has said.

“Mass displacement has continued over the past 24 hours across the Gaza Strip, with the total displacement now exceeding 263,934 people. This number is expected to rise further,” UN OCHA said.

According to the organization, over 175,486 people among the displaced are seeking shelter in 88 schools of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

The report says that according to Gaza healthcare services, at least 830 Palestinians have been killed and 4,250 were injured since the conflict broke out, TASS reported.

Hamas says Biden’s speech ‘cover-up’ of Israeli regime’s occupation

Hamas has “vehemently” rejected the latest Pro-Israeli remarks from Biden, which it says “cover-up” the Zionists’ “crimes and terrorism against the Palestinian people”.

The Palestinian Resistance group described Biden’s latest comments as “inflammatory” and said they came amid “barbaric Israeli occupation aggression against the Gaza Strip”.

Hamas said that Biden’s speech “did not point to the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people in cold blood and under the nose of the whole world”.

Hamas described the Israeli regime’s policies as “collective punishment against more than two million people in Gaza” and “a blatant violation of all international norms and conventions”.

In the statement, Hamas also called on the US administration to “reconsider its position and reverse its double-standard policy in favor of the Israeli occupation,” Al Jazeera reported.

UNRWA headquarters in Gaza has ‘significant damage’

The UN agency for Palestinians says its headquarters has sustained significant damage as a result of nearby air attacks.

All UN international staff present in Gaza are taking shelter in another building within the same compound, UNRWA said in a statement on Tuesday.

UNRWA did not record any deaths among its staff from the incident but two UNRWA staff members and five UNRWA students have been killed since 7 October.

More than 137,000 of the 187,500 people the UN estimates to be displaced within Gaza are sheltering in more than 80 UNRWA schools across the Gaza Strip.

At least 18 UNWRA buildings, including schools sheltering displaced civilians, have been directly or indirectly damaged, the statement said.
