Terrorist attacks on Yemen not to end support for Gaza

Mohammad Ali al-Houthi stated that the US attacks on Yemen are acts of terrorism.

He said that these attacks were carried out to support the Zionist regime in the massacre of the people of Gaza.

Al-Houthi emphasized that terrorist actions against Yemen will not stop the country’s support for Gaza.

He added that the US Central Command (CENTCOM) will not reveal the truth about the crash of its aircraft so as not to undermine the morale of its soldiers further.

Late Saturday night, Yemeni sources reported the bombing of the Jabal Attan area in southern Sana’a.

CENTCOM announced early Sunday morning that they conducted precise airstrikes against a missile storage facility and a Yemeni command and control center in Sana’a.

The US military claimed that these strikes were aimed at halting and reducing Yemen’s operations against warships in the Red Sea.

CENTCOM also stated in its report that, alongside the airstrikes on Sana’a, it had tracked drones and anti-ship cruise missiles launched from Yemen over the Red Sea.

Helicopter crashes into Turkish hospital, killing 4 (+VIDEO)

“The helicopter fell to the ground after having struck the fourth storey of a hospital during take-off,” killing two pilots, a doctor and an employee on board the vehicle, Mugla provincial governor Idris Akbiyik said.

“There was intense fog,” Akbiyik said, adding that the authorities were investigating the accident’s cause.

The helicopter took off in conditions with poor visibility from the roof of the city of Mugla’s hospital en route to the city of Antalya, as seen in images broadcast by the NTV television channel.

The chopper can then be seen drifting in the fog several minutes after take-off, before crashing into an empty field next to the hospital it hit, Turkish media reported.

The accident comes just under two weeks after six soldiers were killed when two helicopters collided during an army training exercise in Turkey’s southwestern Isparta province.

At the time the defence ministry did not specify what caused that crash.

197 reporters martyred in Israeli attack on Gaza since Oct. 7

The Palestinian Journalists’ Protection Center (PJPC) announced the martyrdom of Palestinian journalist Hazem Abu ArQoub and his wife in Israeli airstrike on Khan Yunis in southern Gaza Strip and emphasized that the number of journalists martyred in less than a month at this enclaved region to 6.

The media office condemned the killing and urged the international community to intervene, describing the attacks on journalists as systematic.

It also urged international organizations and governments to “hold Israel accountable by taking legal action in international courts and to put pressure on Israel to halt the ongoing genocide in Gaza.”

Israel has launched a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip following a cross-border attack by the Palestinian group Hamas in October last year, killing more than 44,000 people, most of them women and children, and injuring over 104,000.

The second year of genocide in Gaza has drawn growing international condemnation, with officials and institutions labeling the attacks and blocking of aid deliveries as a deliberate attempt to destroy a population.

The number of Palestinian journalists martyred in Gaza Strip since the outbreak of war in the enclaved Gaza Strip has increased to 197.

'Next to impossible' to rescue patients from Gaza's Kamal Adwan Hospital: Director

The director of Kamal Adwan Hospital says it’s “next to impossible” to rescue civilians and patients since Israel ordered the closure and evacuation on Sunday of the hospital.

Kamal Adwan, one of the last hospitals still barely functioning in a besieged area on the northern edge of the Gaza Strip, is currently home to nearly 400 civilians, “including babies in the neonatal unit, whose lives depend on oxygen and incubators,”  according to the head of the hospital  Doctor Hussam Abu Safiya.

“We cannot evacuate these patients safely without assistance, equipment, and time,” he told Reuters via text message.

“We are sending this message under heavy bombardment and direct targeting of the fuel tanks, which if hit will cause a large explosion and mass casualties of the civilians inside.”

Abu Safiya said Israel’s military had ordered patients and staff to be evacuated to another hospital where conditions are even worse.

Meanwhile, reports said electricity was completely cut off at the hospital after the facility came under a drone attack on Sunday. The attack hit the facility’s power generators and fuel tanks.

The power outage has also cut off communication between medical staff at the facility, deteriorating the already “dire” situation, according to health officials.

Safiya said in a video statement on Saturday night, “The nursery, maternity, and all departments of the hospital are being targeted by the occupation forces with all types of weapons, including sniper fire, tank shells, and quadcopters.”

“For more than an hour now, shells are raining down on us from every corner, mile, and direction.”

Safiya made an urgent appeal to the international community to protect the hospital and its remaining patients as well as medical staff.

“For more than an hour now, shells are raining down on us from every corner, mile, and direction.”

The regime’s forces have attacked Kamal Adwan Hospital more than 20 times in the past two weeks, according to the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, which said “several patients, medical personnel, and their companions” have been injured.

They said the military is “routinely” targeting medical teams in the north of Gaza “to destroy the health system and impose intolerable living conditions on civilians while denying them access to life-saving care.”

Observers say what the Israeli regime is currently doing before the eyes of the world on the northern edge of the coastal strip is land grabs under the threat of extermination.
