14 persons booked for occupying govt land in Adilabad

Police in Adilabad booked 14 persons for allegedly encroaching upon government land at Vaddera Colony in the town. A case was registered following a complaint that the accused also abused officials during the incident, police said.

14 persons booked for occupying govt land in Adilabad

Adilabad: Fourteen persons were booked for allegedly encroaching upon government land in the town on Friday.

Adilabad II town K Nagaraju, in a statement, said a case was registered against Rapan Narayanaswamy, Manjula Sairam, Dundugula Timmaiah, Chinta Reddy, Manjula Srinivas, Kartheek, Ryapan Ravi, Makkala Laxman, Dandugula Rajesh, Manjula Anil, Manjula Kishore, Manjula Chinnabai and Manjula Papamma for occupying a piece of land belonging to Adilabad municipality at Vaddera Colony in the town and for abusing officials.
