Hyderabad: Srinivasa Ravi Teja, the suspect in the death of a young woman in a room in a hotel in Madhapur, allegedly attempted suicide at his residence in his native village in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday. He was shifted to a hospital, and the Parawada police informed their Hyderabad counterparts about the incident.
Ravi Teja hails from Edumetla Marripalem village in Parawada mandal of Andhra Pradesh. According to the information available, he attempted suicide at his house on Wednesday.
The development comes as the Madhapur police formed special teams to trace and apprehend Ravi Teja in connection with the death of Sharon Nikita in a hotel room in the city. The police said the investigation was being conducted from all possible angles, and the sequence of events before and after the incident was being verified through CCTV footage, technical evidence and statements from relevant persons
