Hyundai Motor Group has announced a Rs 10 lakh Mobility Innovation Ideathon for students from its CoE member universities. Participants can submit ideas under four categories focused on enhancing in-vehicle experiences, with preliminary winners announced October 30 and finals December 16.

Hyundai launches Mobility Innovation Ideathon for students

Hyderabad: Hyundai Motor Group has announced the ‘Hyundai CoE Mobility Innovation Ideathon’ for student innovators, with prize money of Rs 10 lakh.

The Mobility Innovation Ideathon will run till early December 2026 and invite students from Hyundai CoE member universities to develop ideas under the theme “Enhanced In-Vehicle Experience.”


Established in 2025, Hyundai CoE serves as Hyundai Motor Group’s collaborative research platform with leading academic institutions in India. The network currently includes IIT Hyderabad, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) Nagpur, and Tezpur University.

Participants can submit ideas across four challenge categories – India-Smart Interaction, AI-Powered & Digital In-Vehicle Experience, Next-Generation In-Vehicle Interface and Smart Value Innovation – via the website https://hcoe-ideathon.com/.

Preliminary winners from each university are scheduled to be announced on October 30, and the final round is scheduled for December 16.
