Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday conducted searches at the residences and offices of NIMS Deputy Superintendent and doctor, Dr. Nori Lakshmi Bhaskar in connection with a disproportionate assets case.
ACB teams carried out simultaneous searches at 13 locations, including Kalpataruvu Apartments in Erragadda, reportedly linked to Dr. Lakshmi Bhaskar, as well as the residences of his family members.
The searches were conducted by multiple ACB teams formed for the operation.
Officials are examining documents, property records and other financial details as part of the investigation into allegations that Lakshmi Bhaskar accumulated assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Lakshmi Bhaskar has been working at NIMS for around 20 years and has served as Deputy Superintendent for the past five years.
He had also faced allegations in the past, according to officials.
