Siddipet: Responding to Congress leaders’ visit to Ranganayaka Sagar to examine his agricultural lands, former minister T Harish Rao said his life was an open book for everyone to read.
While participating in a programme in Siddipet on Friday, before the MPs reached the district, Rao welcomed them and said he would have loved to guide them to his lands and host them for lunch.
Stating that he had disclosed all details of his properties in his election affidavits, the former minister said people could also access the details on the Election Commission of India website. He asked the Congress leaders to speak the truth after examining the lands instead of spreading false information among the people.
He said he had bought 13 acres of land in Ramancha village in Chinna Kodur mandal.
Rao also questioned the need for Congress leaders to visit the places amid heavy police security. He said the people of Siddipet had elected him to the Assembly seven times as he had proved his worth.
“What was the need to carry out a survey using drones when I was ready to guide them through the entire land?” he asked.
