The Telangana government has formed a high-level committee to resolve 12 issues concerning lands and properties included in the prohibited 22-A category. The panel will submit its recommendations within a month, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said in the Assembly.

Hyderabad: Amid the controversy over the inclusion of lands and properties in the prohibited 22-A category, the Congress government on Friday announced the constitution of a high-level committee to address 12 issues within a month.
Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy announced the constitution of the committee in the Assembly. Chief Commissioner of Land Administration DS Lokesh Kumar will serve as the chairman, while Law Secretary Papi Reddy and Inspector General (IG) of Stamps and Registration Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu will be its members. The government issued GO Rt No. 564 to this effect.
The Minister said the committee would sort out the 12 issues pertaining to 22-A within a month. Similarly, to resolve the regularisation issues of 9,792 plots in various colonies of LB Nagar constituency, a memo was issued on Friday under GO 118.
He said the regularisation process in the area would commence on Saturday in accordance with the GO and would be an ongoing process. The government was committed to working sincerely until the issue was fully resolved, he said.
He further said GO 76, regarding the regularisation of house sites in the Singareni region, was issued during the tenure of the late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy. Accordingly, a meeting with MLAs from the Singareni region would be held on Saturday under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka to initiate the regularisation process, he informed the House.
Additionally, the Minister announced that a decision would be taken within a day or two on removing areas from the 22-A list that were previously included in the category but had layouts developed with permissions from HMDA, DTCP or GHMC.
