A 23-year-old software employee from Andhra Pradesh died after jumping from the terrace of a private men’s hostel in Madhapur, Hyderabad. Police said he had moved into the co-living hostel about 10 days ago and was working at a Gachibowli software company.

Hyderabad: A 23-year-old software employee died by suicide by jumping from the terrace of a private men’s hostel building in Madhapur on Tuesday.
According to police, the youth, identified as Yashwanth, from Srikakulam district in Andhra Pradesh worked for a reputed software company in Gachibowli. He had moved into a co-living hostel in Madhapur around 10 days ago for employment.
On Tuesday, Yashwanth reportedly informed the hostel management that he was unwell. He later went to the terrace of the building and jumped. He suffered grievous injuries and died on the spot.
The Madhapur police are investigating the circumstances and reason behind the incident.
