AssetNX India founder Siddharth Shah adopted a white tiger cub at Hyderabad’s Nehru Zoological Park to mark his son Chinmay Shah’s 18th birthday. Chinmay began adopting animals at five and has previously adopted peacocks, a Royal Bengal tiger and a cheetah.

Hyderabad: AssetNX India Private Limited founder Siddharth Shah on Saturday adopted a White Tiger cub at Nehru Zoological Park on the occasion of his son Chinmay Siddharth Shah’s 18th birthday. The MoU was presented to J Muralidhar, Deputy Curator, Nehru Zoological Park.
Chinmay, a first-year engineering student at CBIT, began his wildlife adoption journey at the age of five, when he adopted peacocks. Since then, he has continued to demonstrate a strong interest in wildlife conservation and animal welfare. During the 2020 lockdown, he adopted a Royal Bengal Tiger on his 12th birthday and later adopted a cheetah on his 14th birthday, a press release said.
Zoo officials appreciated the Shah family’s continued support for wildlife conservation. A Shankaran, Former Curator, Nehru Zoological Park, and PRO HM Hanifulla, among others also present.
