The Israeli military has reportedly conducted new attacks on the city of Nabtaieh in southern Lebanon, completely destroying a historic house there.
Press TV reported on Sunday that the more-than-120-year-old house was flattened as part of Israel’s continued aggression against Nabatieh, home to Lebanon’s strategic Ali al-Taher hill.
“The Israelis launched war on the history of Nabatieh, which is overlooked by Ali al-Taher hill,” the report added.

In recent months, Israel has escalated its military aggression across southern Lebanon, carrying out airstrikes, demolitions and the burning of homes in border towns.
The attacks come despite the signing of two US-mediated framework deals between the Tel Aviv regime and Beirut on June 4 and 26.
The Israeli regime also continues to occupy areas in southern Lebanon, including territories it has held for years as well as others it seized during the 2023-24 onslaught.
On Saturday, the Lebanese resistance movement said deadly Israeli assaults come amid international inaction and the Lebanese government’s “failure to protect” the nation.
Israeli killed 8,920 people and injured 30,595 others in its attacks on Lebanon from October 2023 to September 2026, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health said in a statement on Saturday.
The numbers included 4,358 deaths and 12,359 injuries recorded since March 2, when the Israeli military intensified its aggression against Lebanon.
