Hyderabad: Last year’s runners-up Comptroller & Auditor General of India (CAG) survived a mighty scare from Punjab & Sind Bank, while defending champions Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) were held to a 4-4 draw by Punjab National Bank (PNB) on the second day of the 6th Hockey India Senior Men Inter-Departmental Hockey Championship at the Gachibowli Hockey Stadium here on Saturday.

CAG 5 (Trishul Ganapathi, Deepak, Parmod, Manjeet 2) bt Punjab & Sind Bank 4 (Gautampal Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Prabhdeep Singh, Sukhvinder Singh).
SAI 5 (Akash Pal, Sachin Dung Dung, Sunil, Shivam Patel, Vikas) bt CRPF 0.
PSPB 4 (Sudeep Chirmako, Dipsan Tirkey, Diblar Barla, Talwinder Singh) drew with Punjab National Bank 4 (Sachin Sachin, Gursimran Singh, Panchal Prikshit, Mahipal).
Central Secretariat 5 (Chandan Singh 2, Bharath Mahalingappa Kurtakoti 2, Manikanta Venkatashwarlu) bt Sashastra Seema Bal 1 (Bikash Kujur).
SSCB 2 (Atish Dodrai, Selvaraj Kanagaraj) lost to CBT 5 (YM Pranam Gowda, Karthi 2, R Manikandan, Nachappa).
AIPSCB 4 (Arun Sahani 3, Suraj Singh) bt Steel Plant 0.
FCI 4 (Nitin 2, Navraj Singh 2) bt CISF 0.
