Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) enforcement teams demolished 24 unauthorised under-construction buildings, seized three unauthorised constructions and served notices on another during inspections across three zones on Saturday.
A CMC press release said 11 buildings were demolished in Quthbullapur zone, seven in Serilingampally zone and six in Kukatpally zone. It also said teams identified 23 unauthorised constructions for necessary action.
The inspections followed the collapse of a seven-storey building in Anjaiah Nagar. Teams conducted field-level inspections and identified cases in accordance with prescribed procedures.
CMC commissioner G Srijana directed town planning and enforcement teams to continue daily inspections, monitoring and action across all three zones. CMC said action against identified unauthorised constructions would continue under applicable building regulations.
