Energy costs hit US taxpayers after 6 months of unpopular war on Iran

After campaigning on a promise of no new wars, and then promising that the war on Iran would only last a few weeks, US President Donald Trump’s attack on Iran has now entered its 7th month.

Not only did it immediately become the most unpopular war in American history, but the average US taxpayer has already paid around $800 in increased energy costs alone. Ramin Mazaheri has more from Washington DC.
