Iran pushes for BRICS tourism fund, easier travel at Jaipur meeting

Iran has proposed tourism-focused BRICS cooperation by creating a Tourism Infrastructure Development Fund to attract investment and by easing travel between member states with more direct flights and simpler visa procedures.

Tehran made the proposals at the BRICS Tourism Ministers’ meeting in Jaipur, while also pushing to deepen tourism ties with India.
