Deputy Minister for Cultural Affairs at the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance Yasser Ahmadvand said that the Frankfurt Book Fair have voiced their willingness to attend the Tehran International Book Fair, which will be held later this year in the spring.
Referring to the meeting of the representative of the Frankfurt Book Fair on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the 32nd New Delhi International Book Fair with Ali Ramezani, the CEO of Iran Book and Literature House who is also deputy director and spokesperson of the 35th Tehran International Book Fair, Ahmadvand said: that, “On the sidelines of the opening ceremony of this exhibition, one of the officials of the Frankfurt Book Fair with Mr. Ramezani, the head of the Tehran International Book Fair spoke and expressed his desire that Iran be present at the Frankfurt Fair as before. We also announced that we are interested in participating in this exhibition if there is an honorable presence for Iran.”
