Speaking in his weekly press briefing on Monday, Baghaei referred to the memorandum of understanding (MoU) inked between Iran and the US, noting that Islamabad MoU signed with US does not stipulate a 60-day deadline.
The deadline stipulated in MoU was for negotiations regarding the issues of lifting sanctions, nuclear program.
Turning to Iran and Oman’s shared views on the Strait of Hormuz, Baghaei emphasized that Iran and Oman are working together to find a mechanism to secure navigation in Hormuz Strait.
The US policy of exerting maximum pressure and sanctions will not affect Iran.
