Hyderabad: A woman was robbed of a gold chain weighing around three tolas by unidentified persons in Girmapur area of Medchal on Sunday.
According to police, the woman was walking along the road when two persons riding a motorcycle approached her. The pillion rider reportedly snatched the gold chain from her neck before the duo fled from the spot on the bike.
The woman approached the police and lodged a complaint. A case was registered, and police have launched an investigation.
Police are examining CCTV camera footage from the area to identify the suspects and trace their movements.
Efforts are on to establish the registration details of the motorcycle used in the crime.
